Annino Architects Douglas Annino

Douglas R. Annino, NCARB
Principal

After graduating from the University of Detroit’s School of Architecture in 1977 where I earned a B.A. in Architecture, I continued my education at The Boston Architectural Center and Harvard University. I settled in beautiful New England, where my love of the ocean and the mountains is continually nurtured. Working as a carpenter in the construction industry for many years, I gained a keen knowledge of construction means and methods. After working several years in architectural offices in the Boston area, the dream of establishing an architectural firm with a broad knowledge of construction and strong interaction with the public was realized. Annino Inc. has developed meaningful and lasting relationships with a variety of clients and contractors on very diverse and complicated commercial and residential projects. The reliance on integrity, value and strong design has resulted in attractive and functional buildings.

It is very important to me, to be fully vested in the communities in which we live. As a former member of the Mansfield Planning Board (16 years), Board of Selectmen (6 years) and current member of the Mansfield Municipal Building Committee much effort has been expended in the development of the Master Plan for the Town of Mansfield.

Annino Inc. represents over 35 years of continued service in the Design and Construction Industries. As we move forward, we need to understand more fully the effects the built environment has on our lives and how we can better design and prepare for a future where we enhance and support the world in which we live.

Annino Architects Christine Walsh

Christine Walsh
Designer & Project Manager

Christine was engrossed in design from an early age. She constantly explored and compared buildings and spaces, both interior and out in nature. Her love of the ocean landed her at Roger Williams University on Narragansett Bay where she graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture. Her natural intuition gives her a personal approach to her client relationships where she listens and interprets their ideas into reality. Christine likes to work on both Commercial and Residential projects and loves when she can respectfully revitalize an old historic mill space with new life. She also likes the real-life challenges of solving onsite field issues when they arise. As a team player, she likes to collaborate on larger projects and enjoys working with and coordinating the firm’s engineering consultants. To give back to her Community, she has done volunteer work at her Church, was a previous member of the Historic Society and participated in the New Master Plan for the Town of Wrentham.
